Monisha Merchant

Monisha brings over 15 years of experience in the private, government, nonprofit, international development and higher education sectors. At Lotus Advisory, Monisha provides public affairs and management consulting services to companies and organizations, including Airbnb, Cal Alumni Association, National Immigration Forum, and Manufacturer’s Edge. Previously, Monisha was a senior policy adviser on business and economic issues to U.S. Senator Michael Bennet, where she partnered with industry leaders and local economic development agencies. She led the multi-sector efforts to create the Blackstone Entrepreneurs Network in Colorado and to bring a new USPTO regional office to Denver. Monisha has worked at Level 3 Communications, Booz Allen Hamilton, Lucent Technologies, and the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. She has worked on projects in Brazil, China, Germany, Ghana, Indonesia, Japan, and Nicaragua. Monisha served on the University of Colorado Board of Regents. Monisha has an electrical engineering degree from MIT and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
