Jerry Ross is Executive Director of the National Entrepreneur Center (NEC) in Orlando, FL. For the past 25 years, he has been an active entrepreneur in the Orlando area, launching businesses such as Sky-Tracker Florida, Semco Properties, and Maverick Business Magazine.

He has also held leadership positions at AT&T, Ohio Bell, and Goal Systems Software. The NEC is a unique public/private partnership and home to 11 business support organizations dedicated to the development and growth of businesses throughout Florida. The NEC has attracted national and international attention for its creative approach to “economic development through small business development.” The Orlando Business Journal has called Jerry a “virtual business incubator” and he has been named one of the “Top 10 Businessmen to Watch” in Central Florida. He’s been quoted in national publications such as Entrepreneur magazine, The Wall Street Journal, Inc. magazine, and most recently appeared on PBS’ Nightly Business Report to discuss small business development and the economy. He is a member of the Board of the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce and Vice Chairman of Florida’s District Export Council.
